  • Flesh for Medium.com

The one thing I miss the most from home is barbecue and I have finally found my salvation in Paris, Flesh. Bringing their own unique style of slow cooked meat to Paris, chef Simon Lewis and his partner David Vidal gives customers a stellar menu of staples like brisket, ribs and pulled pork. teaching the city the pleasures of slow cooking, American style.

  • The Fallon Brothers

Way back last summer the Fallon brothers (Patrick and Daniel) were traveling through Europe and they stopped in Paris for a couple days to hang out. Patrick is an old friend from university, a bad ass photojournalist and a teller of jokes worse than mine. It was great seeing you two, come back again soon.

  • Chez Alain Miam Miam

Last weekend Mélanie and I went to try Chez Alain Miam Miam (miam miam or in English "yum yum") a sandwich stand in a market where good food is easy to find. The sandwiches are made by it's friendly proprietor and although you might wait awhile (we did for 45 minutes), but it's because Alain makes a great sandwich.

  • Holybelly for Medium.com

Back in January I made some pictures of the fantastic Holybelly, a breakfast place off of Canal St. Martin. Run by the team Nico Alary and Sarah Mouchot, they make breakfast in a style more familiar to the states than Paris and damn it's good. Thank you for the hospitality, pancakes and coffee, see you guys again soon. Check out the original article as well.

  • Paris Courts Devant

Way back in November of last year I made photos again for the short film festival, Paris Courts Devant. I didn't have as much time to give them as I had the previous year but it was fun to again run around making images for this great group of people. I was doing some organization on my computer when I realized these images had never seen the light of day.

  • Barcelona

Last month I got to spend a week in Barcelona and I have found my favorite city. The beautiful neighborhoods, kind people (special thanks to the boys who let me photograph their boxing match) and the incredible food. Barcelona is a wonderful place and I can't wait to go spend more time wondering it's narrow streets.

  • Shoefiti

Way back in May, 2014 I took some pictures of the band Shoefiti when they played a small concert in l'Eglise Saint-Merri. It was cool to see a band perform in a church, the acoustics and the atmosphere were different than most other concerts I've seen. The pictures languished on a hard drive for a long time before I gave them another look and I think I found some nice ones.
