Leaving the Aarhus harbor far later than would be expected of fishermen, the two men do not seem to be in a hurry. Four hour later, after checking three nets and keeping fewer than a dozen fish, both men seem happy and satisfied with their afternoon at sea. Both men are retired and after years of fishing together they still go out nearly every day, if just for a few hours. In Denmark fishing is more than just an occupation you work till you reach retirement age, it is a way of life, a passion, a life long hobby. Neither man speaks a word of English.
